We are a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and subscribe to its current Code of Practice, a copy of which is available upon request. We aim to act in a professional manner and provide a courteous, sensitive and dignified service to you.
- Estimates and Expenses
Our estimate is an indication of the charges likely to be incurred on the basis of the information and details we know at the date of estimate. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the estimate, the charges are liable to alteration particularly where third parties change their rates or charges.
We may not know the amount of third party charges in advance of the funeral. However we will give you a best estimate of such charges on the written estimate. The actual amount of the charges will be detailed and shown in the final account.
If you amend your instructions, we will require your confirmation of the changes. We may need to make an extra charge in accordance with prices published in our current price list.
- Payment Arrangements
We realise that there may be unavoidable reasons for delay in payment of funeral invoices and naturally we take a sympathetic view. However, we reserve the right to charge 2½% above the Company Bank’s Base Rate if the account remains unpaid after 60 days unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
- Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us, and we need to be able to communicate with Churches, Ministers, Celebrants, Crematoria, Cemeteries, Stonemasons and Florists and any other organisations that are dealing with arranging your loved-ones funeral, which is in-line with UK law on data protection. As a result of changes in UK law, we now need your consent to how we contact you.

To share the above contact details with the Church, Cemetery, Crematoria, Minister/Celebrant, stonemason and a charity nominated by the family at the time of arranging the funeral. Any other third party relating to arranging the funeral.

If, however, you have any questions or concerns about the service we provide to you, please raise them in the first instance with our designated senior person.
